Kayak Right from our "Center" - Voyagers Kayak Center :
Kayak_Shop_09-02.jpg (15133 bytes)Our Florida Keys center is now closed and the property has been sold. We'll keep you posted as to our new location. The following is what we offered these past 5 years and we hope we can offer the same format in our future new location: An offering for experienced kayakers who want the use of quality equipment for daily paddling and also the proximity to restaurants and other shore side attractions!
Select a kayak from our inventory and keep it conveniently, just inches from the water, on our floating docks.  We have kayaks from NDK, Valley, Northwest, Seda, and Janautica, including the Anadyr and the Romany.  Paddles are from Werner, Big Spoons, and Mitchell.

Kayak_Shop_3__09-02.jpg (18588 bytes) Along with the safety gear listed below, we supply compasses and charts (in vinyl), for the decks of your kayaks to help you navigate your day paddles.

Instruction-Dederick-12-02.jpg (523849 bytes) From our center, located on Fat Deer Key and surrounded by the waters of the Florida Keys Marine Sanctuary, you have access to both the Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, with canals, natural coves and creeks, mangrove islands, patch coral reefs, and beaches.  There is always a choice between protected and open water with a variety of natural elements, both above and below, in our clear Keys waters!  Our winter water temperature averages around 75.  Marine life and birds are fun to observe up close from your kayak!  Our friends Ron and Melinda Bean of Pennsylvania, coined the term "snoraking", which is rolling upside down with your dive mask on, looking around, and then rolling back up.  We can teach you how!  Private instruction is available.  Over water or over land drop-offs and pick-ups can be arranged.

Learn more about our Florida Keys environment, the snorkeling, bird watching, and marine life on "Our Kayak Paddling Environment" page.

Programs are a week in length and available for individuals or couples. Accommodations on shore are included or stay at local hotels or resorts.

Located in Marathon, "The Heart of the Florida Keys" -  visit The Museums at Crane Point Hammock (Natural History Museum, Children's Museum, and Wild Bird Rescue Center), Pigeon Key Historical Sight, several "swim with the dolphins" facilities, The Turtle Hospital, two workout centers in town, shopping, a wide choice of restaurants, nightlife with live music,  a movie theater and live community theater,  - and - you are only one hour away from Key West and thirty minutes away from Islamorada!

or . . . forget all that . . . and just slow your pace, . . . tune in to nature, . . . and enjoy a relaxing vacation . . . kayaking in the "Florida Keys Marine Sanctuary".
